Matt Lush works alongside CEOs and their leadership teams to design and tell the stories of their organizations. He has told his clients’ stories in The Wall Street Journal, CNN, Bloomberg, NBC News, Fast Company, Entrepreneur, The Huffington Post, and others.
Matt serves as chief of staff to Nevada Senator Heidi Gansert after successfully managing her 2016 campaign. He has served on campaigns for United States Senate, Nevada Secretary of State, and Reno Mayor.
Before working in public affairs, Matt served as senior account executive at The Abbi Agency, where he directed award-winning integrated marketing communications campaigns, nurturing collaboration and innovation between creative, public relations, and digital teams. He also served as public relations specialist for the University of Nevada, Reno School of Medicine.
Matt’s writing and photography has appeared in Fast Company, the Los Angeles Times, BuzzFeed, the Las Vegas Review-Journal, the Reno Gazette-Journal, PR Daily, Nevada Silver & Blue, and Synapse.
Matt serves on the board of directors for the nonprofit The Orion Group and is a Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) member. He also served on the Nevada’s Center for Entrepreneurship and Technology (NCET) board of directors.
Matt studied journalism and economics at the University of Nevada, Reno, where he won the Outstanding Public Relations Student Award and Nita Spangler Service Award at The Reynolds School.
