About the event

Join us during our next meeting as Dr. Jody Lykes and Rayna van Beuzekom answer questions about microaggressions in the workplace.

MEET THE SPEAKERS:

Jody Lykes, Ph.D. Coordinator, African Diaspora Program

Raised between Sunnyside, WA and Santa Maria, CA, Jody Lykes received his Bachelors from Brigham Young University, Provo in Political Science with a Spanish minor, as well as his Masters from the University of Nevada, Reno in Educational Leadership.  He earned his Ph.D. from the University of Nevada, Reno in Education, Diversity & Equity. Dr. Lykes teaches several diversity courses on campus.

Rayna van Beuzekom PRSSA National VP of Diversity and Inclusion

Rayna van Beuzekom is a third-year student at the University of Florida. They are majoring in public relations with a minor in women’s studies. Van Beuzekom began her freshman fall working at UF PRSSA’s nationally affiliated student-run firm, Alpha PRoductions. As VP of Diversity and Inclusion, they prioritized education, collaboration, and intentionality.
